A dot along the map of the U.S. coast of South Carolina, Jade Island has emerged as a highly desired destination to live or visit for either business or pleasure. Given its geography, Jade Island balances the demands of urban life with the comfort and security of suburban and rural living. 

Long known as a city known for vice and violence, local efforts to revitalize Jade Island have rejuvenated the once-bankrupt city and carved it out as a modern-day urban oasis for the aspiring working class. But while the residents enjoy a fruitful community, remnants of the town’s history continue to challenge its residents and visitors. 

Like many other cities dotted on the map, Jade Island still thrives in the shadows of sex, drugs, booze and sordid dealings.  The internal struggle between the rich and poor, the good and the bad, continues to this day and invites all walks of life to its shores.
